Youngstown, OH — Last Night, the Mahoning Valley Young Professionals (MVYP) gathered for their monthly mixer at The Varsity Club in downtown Youngstown, continuing their mission to build the future of the Valley—together.

This month’s event held special significance as MVYP partnered with the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley and The Rich Center for Autism to shine a light on Autism Awareness Month. Custom-designed MVYP Autism Awareness T-shirts were available for purchase at the event, and proceeds from the sales will benefit the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley. In addition, all physical donations collected tonight will be delivered directly to The Rich Center for Autism.

The MVYP community was honored to be joined by 4-year-old William Peplow, who was diagnosed with autism in the fall of 2024. William’s mother, Gina Peplow, serves on the MVYP board and plays an integral role in the organization and how MVYP gives back.
“As young professionals, we don’t just grow our careers—we grow our community,” said MVYP Treasure Coleman Stauffer. “Tonight was a reminder that building the future of the Mahoning Valley means standing together in support of causes that matter.”

A group photo from the event captures the energy and unity of MVYP members and guests proudly wearing their MVYP Autism Awareness t-shirts. Shirts are still available for purchase online and can be shipped directly to your home. Help us support this meaningful cause by visiting:
T-shirts will be available through the end of April.
