Michael T. Bleggi is a dedicated accounting professional, coach, and community leader who has spent the last decade making a lasting impact in both his industry and his hometown. As a Manager at Bodine and Company, CPA's, Michael has demonstrated exceptional expertise and professionalism in public accounting, helping clients navigate complex financial decisions while fostering trust and long-term relationships. A graduate of Youngstown State University, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting summa cum laude in 2015, and went on to earn his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2019, impressively passing all exams on his first attempt.

Michael’s professional achievements are only one part of his story. His heart for mentorship and youth development shines through his long-standing involvement with the YMCA of Youngstown, where he began working at the age of 16. Over the past 15 years, he has served as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and now Assistant Head Coach of the Neptune Swim Team, shaping the lives of over a thousand children through his dedication and guidance. Michael is known for creating an environment where young athletes grow not only in skill but in confidence and character. His consistency, leadership, and servant mindset make him an irreplaceable part of the YMCA community.

In addition to his professional and coaching roles, Michael has also been an active member of the Wolves Club of Youngstown for over 10 years, supporting its mission to provide scholarships and financial assistance for students pursuing higher education throughout Mahoning County. His involvement in the club’s fundraising and service efforts underscores his commitment to lifting others and giving back to the community that raised him.

Whether he's mentoring aspiring accountants, coaching young swimmers, or helping local students realize their dreams of higher education, Michael Bleggi leads by example — with humility, heart, and a high standard of excellence. His legacy is already being built in the Mahoning Valley through the lives he touches every day, making him a highly deserving honoree of the 2025 MVYP 25 Under 35 Award.
