Kaitlyn Camp is a dynamic nonprofit leader, first responder, and community champion whose dedication to service spans healthcare, youth mentorship, and emergency response. As the Administrator of the Cortland Moose Lodge, Kaitlyn leads an organization of over 2,500 members, overseeing operations that contribute more than $50,000 annually to local causes and initiatives. Her position as the youngest female Moose Lodge Administrator in Ohio speaks volumes about her pioneering spirit, professional excellence, and deep-rooted commitment to her community.
Kaitlyn's career began in emergency medical services, where she served as an EMT-B for Johnston Fire Department starting in 2015. She later expanded her clinical skills as an Orthopedic Technician at Akron Children’s Hospital, where she delivered compassionate, expert care to pediatric patients. In 2021, she took on a teaching role as an EMS Assistant Instructor, helping train the next generation of emergency responders with a hands-on, mentorship-based approach.
Her professional growth is matched by an impressive educational foundation, including certifications in phlebotomy, TIPS, 2HOTT, and emergency medical instruction. A graduate of Maplewood Local Schools, Kaitlyn has continuously evolved her skills, balancing medical, administrative, and leadership responsibilities — all while running a successful side business as an assistant photographer for over a decade.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kaitlyn’s heart lies in community service. She has spent more than 10 years volunteering as an EMT, giving back through countless hours of emergency support. Her deep passion for youth empowerment has led her to serve as a Girl Scout Leader, a key volunteer for the Moose International Youth Awareness Program, and a founding member of SMASH, a teen-led initiative promoting safe driving.
She has also volunteered with the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s “Teddy Trooper” Program, the Trumbull County Holstein Club, the Ohio Special Olympics Summer Games, and the Tim Tebow Night to Shine, consistently showing up for individuals with special needs and underserved communities. Whether dressing up as a mascot to connect with children or plunging into freezing water to raise funds for the Special Olympics, Kaitlyn leads by example — with courage, kindness, and grit.
In every role she takes on, Kaitlyn brings compassion, leadership, and purpose. She is a mentor to the next generation, a pillar of support to her peers, and a role model within the Moose organization and beyond. Her story is one of steady growth, passionate service, and the kind of authentic leadership that uplifts entire communities.
For her trailblazing leadership, life-saving service, and unwavering dedication to those around her, Kaitlyn Camp is a truly deserving recipient of the 2025 25 Under 35 Award.
